A vegan-friendly sautéed collard greens with garlic and chili flakes for a quick fiber boost and antioxidants.
Ingredients
21 OZ / 600 G collard greens
5 EA garlic cloves
3 TBSP olive oil
1 TSP chili flakes
Directions
Remove the center rib from the collard greens and roughly chop. Set aside for later.
Cut the root of the garlic and add your garlic to the mixing bowl. Chop your garlic with the measuring cup inserted for 5 seconds / speed 5. Once cooked, carefully remove the garlic skins from the mixing bowl.
Chop the garlic again for 5 seconds / speed 6.
Add the collard green to the mixing bowl. With the measuring cup inserted, chop the greens for 6 seconds / speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add the olive oil to the mixing bowl along with the chili flakes. Sauté the greens with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Stir the contents of the mixing bowl and cook again on sauté mode for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
