Enjoy this quick and easy vegetarian paneer, high in protein and minerals.
Ingredients
10.5 OZ / 300 G paneer
7 OZ / 200 G okra
1 TBSP ginger
2 CLOVES garlic
1 TSP kashmiri powder
2 TSP yellow mustard seeds
0.5 EA lemon
1 TSP coriander seed
1 TSP salt
17.5 OZ / 500 ML water
1 EA red bell pepper
1 TBSP cilantro
2 EA lime
Directions
Peel the ginger and garlic then add them to the mixing bowl along with the Kashmiri powder, yellow mustard seed, coriander seed, salt and the juice of half a lemon. Chop for 20 seconds / speed 10. Empty into a large bowl and then clean out the mixing bowl.
Dice the cheese into 1 inch squares then add to the large bowl with the marinade in. Deseed the bell pepper and cut into 1 inch squares. Trim the top of the okra and also add that to the marinade. Mix gently to combine well.
Carefully skewer the cheese and vegetables onto the bamboo stick and arrange in the steaming trays. Add your water to the mixing bowl and attach the steamer trays. Steam your skewers for 15 minutes.
Once cooked, remove your skewers and lay on a plate. Garnish with lime wedges and cilantro.
