Home candied ginger is great in teas or added to your home baked cakes and desserts.
Ingredients
28 OZ / 800 G ginger
17.5 OZ / 500 G sugar
26.5 OZ / 750 ML water
Directions
Peel your ginger and chop into 2 inch pieces. Add your ginger to the mixing bowl along with the water and cook the ginger for 80 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1 / stir. Insert the measuring cup.
Add your sugar to the mixing bowl and keep cooking the ginger for 20 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 1 / stir. Once cooked, place to sterilized jars and wait for a few days before using.
