In Steam mode, the preset temperature and time is 248°F or 120°C for 20 min. Steam mode is preset to speed 1 and counter-clockwise rotation. Steaming time can be adjusted for up to 60 min.
Prior to steaming, you may opt to preheat the water to boil which may add approximately 10 min more depending on the amount of water added in.
As an estimate, it will take about 25 min to boil 12 cups or 3L of water and 30 min to evaporate 2 cups or 500 mL of water.
