Apple crumble is a classic and delicious dessert made by layering sliced apples with a crumbly mixture of flour, butter, sugar, and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, then baking it until the top is golden brown and crispy.
Ingredients
4 EA green apple
5.5 OZ / 150 G butter
2 OZ / 50 G brown sugar
1 TBSP cornstarch
2 OZ / 50 G sugar
1 TSP ground cinnamon
5.5 OZ / 150 G all-purpose flour
2 OZ / 50 G water
Directions
Add two-thirds of your butter, sugar, cinnamon and flour to the mixing bowl. Knead the crumble mix for 45 seconds using the kneading mode. Remove the crumble and clean your mixing bowl.
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into cubes. Preheat the oven to 360°F|180°C.
Add the remaining butter, brown sugar and apple to the mixing bowl. Insert the measuring cup and cook the filling for 10 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / stir.
Add the cornstarch to a separate bowl, mix it well with the water. Remove the measuring cup and cook again for 2 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / stir. Pour in the cornstarch mix through the hole on the lid when the blade is rotating.
Empty the contents of the mixing bowl into an oven-proof dish, and sprinkle the crumble over the top. Bake it for 30 minutes.
