Ingredients
10 EA globe artichokes
1 EA lemon
2 TBSP olive oil
1 TSP salt flakes
1 TSP pepper
17.5 OZ / 500 ML water
Directions
Prepare the artichokes by trimming the stork off the stem and cutting around an inch off the top of the bulb. Carefully remove the outer leaves, exposing only the light-colored inner ones. Trim the root a little more as desired, then using a teaspoon, remove all the fibers from the center of the heart.
Add your water to the mixing bowl then insert your deep steaming tray. Slice your artichokes in half, then add them to the deep steaming tray. Season well with olive oil, juice of a lemon, salt and pepper. Steam your artichokes using the steam mode for 30 minutes.
Enjoy your dish! You can preserve them in the fridge or slice them warm and serve them over a salad.

TIPS:
Rub some extra lemon juice over the hearts to prevent them from discoloring.
If you want a little bit of fancy color, you can torch your artichokes or put them in the oven.
