Featuring thinly sliced red cabbage, carrots, and onion, mixed altogether in a creamy mayo-mustard sauce, this dish is perfect for potlucks, barbecues, or any other outdoor event.
Ingredients
17.5 OZ / 500 G red cabbage
7 OZ / 200 G carrot
1 EA onion
5.5 OZ / 150 G mayonnaise
1 TBSP djion mustard
0.5 EA lemon
1 TSP fine sea salt
Directions
Cut cabbage into 2.5cm (1-inch) pieces. Cut the onion into small cubes. Cut carrot into 1.25cm (0.5-inch) pieces. Juice the lemon and reserve for later.
Add the cabbage, carrot and onion to the mixing bowl. Chop with the measuring cup inserted for 15 seconds / speed 4. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add the dijon mustard, lemon juice, mayonnaise and salt to the mixing bowl. Chop for 5 seconds / speed 5 with the measuring cup inserted. Transfer the slaw to a large serving dish.
Serve immediately, garnishing with fresh cilantro. Enjoy your meal!
