Ingredients
5.5 OZ / 150 G butter
5.5 OZ / 150 G all-purpose flour
1 TBSP garam masala
5 TBSP curry powder
1 TSP Chili powder
Directions
Add your butter to the mixing bowl. Melt your butter with the measuring cup inserted for 3 minutes / 195°F|90°C / speed 2 / stir.
Insert the butterfly whisk into the mixing bowl, then add your flour. With the measuring cup removed, cook your roux for 5 minutes / 195°F|90°C / speed 2 / stir. Once cooked, give your roux a good mix with the spatula.
Add your garam masala, curry powder and chili powder to the mixing bowl and continue cooking your roux with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 195°F|90°C / speed 2 / stir. Once done, empty the contents onto a lined dish before allowing them to set solid in the fridge. Cut it into cubes and store it in the fridge till ready to use like the shop-bought stuff.
