Ingredients
1 EA puff pastry
5.5 OZ / 150 G sugar
1.5 OZ / 40 G cornstarch
17.5 OZ / 490 ML milk
4 OZ / 113 G butter
1 TSP vanilla extract
1 TSP ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 230°C / 450°F. Put your pastry dough into your baking tray and bake for 10 minutes. Once done, remove your pastry from the oven and set aside. Let it cool down. Preheat your oven again to 190°C / 370°F.
TIP: You can add dry beans on top of your pastry before baking to keep the shape of your pastry.
Add your sugar, cornstarch and milk to the mixing bowl. Cook your milk without the measuring cup inserted for 20 minutes / 265°F|130°C / speed 1.
Add your butter and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl. Mix for 15 seconds / speed 3.
Pour the mixture from the mixing bowl into the baked pastry and sprinkle some cinnamon.
Bake your sugar cream for 20 minutes. Leave the sugar cream in the fridge until it is set for at least 3 hours.
