Ingredients
12.5 OZ / 350 G ground beef
3.5 OZ / 100 G marinara sauce
1 EA yellow onion
2 CLOVES garlic
2 TBSP olive oil
1 TSP salt
1 TSP pepper
26.5 OZ / 750 G ready rolled shortcrust pastry
1 TBSP all-purpose flour
Directions
Peel your onion and garlic, then add them to the mixing bowl. Chop for 8 seconds / speed 6. Scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.
Add your olive oil and ground beef to the mixing bowl. Sauté with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C.
Stir your beef with the spatula and cook again with the measuring cup removed for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C in sauté mode again.
Add your marinara sauce, flour, a little salt and pepper to the mixing bowl. Cook with the measuring cup inserted for 3 minutes / 230°F|110°C / speed 2 / stir. Once cooked, remove from the mixing bowl and allow the filling to cool down.
Preheat your oven to 180°C / 360°F. Gather your pie cases and cut out the pastry to fit into the pie case, make sure you reserve enough for topping your pie. Fill your cooled pie filling into the pie cases, and then top with the remaining pastry. Use the back of a fork to press to seal the pie. Bake your pies for 30 minutes.
