A quick homemade supper that topping with herby tomato sauce.
Ingredients
2 OZ / 60 G dry bread rolls
1 OZ / 30 ML milk
10.5 OZ / 300 G mixed beef and pork mince
1 EA egg
1 TSP mustard
1 TSP salt
0.5 TSP pepper
1 TSP paprika powder
1.5 OZ / 40 G shallot
1 CLOVE garlic
2 TBSP olive oil
14 OZ / 400 G chopped tomatoes, tinned
10.5 OZ / 300 ML warm vegetable stock
0.5 TSP dried oregano
0.5 TSP dried marjoram
1 TSP dried thyme
1 TSP sugar
Directions
Cut the bread roll or white bread into rough pieces, add to the mixing bowl. With the measuring cup in place, chop finely for 12 seconds / speed 10.
Add the milk, minced meat, egg, mustard, salt, pepper and paprika powder and mix for 2 minutes using the KNEAD button.
Remove the meat mixture to another bowl. With damp hands, make 12–16 equal-sized balls from the mixture and place in the deep steaming tray. Wash the mixing bowl.
Peel the shallot and garlic. Halve the shallot and put the shallot and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop with the TURBO button for 2 seconds.
Use the spatula to scrape down. Add the oil and remove the measuring cup, sauté for 5 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / reverse.
Add the chopped tomatoes, warm vegetable stock, herbs and sugar. Attach the steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
