Ingredients
4 EA pears (William or Bralette)
6 OZ / 150 G butter
2 OZ / 60 G brown sugar
1 OZ / 30 G ginger
1 TBSP cornstarch
2 OZ / 60 G sugar
1 TSP cinnamon
6 OZ / 180 G all-purpose flour
2 OZ / 60 G water
Directions
Add butter, sugar, cinnamon and flour to the mixing bowl. Knead for 45 seconds. Decant the crumble and clean the mixing bowl.
Peel the pears, remove the core and cut into cubes. Peel the ginger then add to the mixing bowl. Chop with TURBO button for 4 seconds. Scrape down the sides. Preheat the oven at 320°F|180°C.
Add the remaining butter, brown sugar and pear to the mixing bowl. Insert the measuring cup, cook for 10 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / stir.
Add the cornstarch to a separate bowl, mix well with the water. Remove the measuring cup, pour in the cornstarch mix through the hole on the lid when it rotates for 2 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 1 / stir.
Empty the contents of the mixing bowl into an oven proof dish, and sprinkle the crumble over the top. Bake for 30 minutes.
